 Welcome to Annapolis!

I’m excited to have you stay in the 2nd Floor Apartment and hope you enjoy every aspect of your stay. When you arrive, enter the back door to the building at 15 Francis Street, walk up to the 2nd floor stair landing, turn right into the little hallway, and the 2nd Floor Apartment will be ahead of you towards the front (Main Street Side) of the building. Now you’ll be ready for a great stay in Annapolis!

If you have any issues while you are here, please reach out to Matt @ 240-421-5497.  I’ll be sure to do everything I can to make sure your stay is smooth and memorable.

The following info will help ensure you have a smooth stay:

Code for the Outside Door - See the Airbnb app.

Code for 2nd Floor Door – See the Airbnb app.

Internet – We have two wireless networks that are available for guest use.  We’re not really sure what the difference is (ask the IT guy), but they both work just fine!

Network:       CA-WAP-AL               Password: EatWellAndOften

                        CA-WAP-AH              Password: EatWellAndOften

TV - We know that you didn’t come to town to watch the TV, but sometimes you need to veg out. If so, we have TVs with Rokus on them and subscriptions to Sling TV. There’s no cable available at the building, so this is the best we can do. If you want to watch a game on Network TV, I recommend checking out a local bar and grabbing a pint while you cheer your team on!

Parking – Parking options in Downtown Annapolis are limited, but the loft is convenient to most of your choices.  We recommend that you drive up to the loft entrance at 15 Francis to bring your bags in, and get introduced to the space.  After that find the kind of parking that suits you best.  Your options include:

Garage Parking – The main garage for Downtown Annapolis is just about 200 feet away on the other side of Main Street.  It is the City’s ‘Noah Hillman’ garage.  It’s convenient and only costs $20 per day, so we use this anytime we expect to be down for the day or stay overnight.  There are other garages available for parking for less money that are a mid-distance walk away or served by the trolley.  If you want to look into any of those options, try googling City of Annapolis Parking or go to their site:

http://www.annapolis.gov/government/city-departments/transportation/parking

Street Parking – If you’re lucky, you can snag a street parking spot on either Main Street or on Francis Street (right outside the loft’s door).  The meters run for $2/hour.  If you choose to find street parking, there is wide availability early in the morning and late at night.  During mid-day, you might have to cruise a few times to get lucky.

Free Street Parking –We’ve heard it’s available over in the ol’ Maritime Republic of Eastport, but that’s a bit of a hike.  It’s a really pretty walk back and forth, but definitely not a short stroll.

Heat/AC - If you get a little too hot or a little too cool, I’ve left an (awesome!) Dyson heating and cooling fan in the apartment to help you adjust to your favorite temperature.

Eat, Drink, and Be Merry – Annapolis is home to a slowly-burgeoning dining scene.  While many visitors spend their money at the old standbys like McGarvey’s, we recommend the following places:

Preservewww.preserve-eats.com – We own this one, so we’re biased!  It’s been a Top 100 Restaurant in the Washingtonian for four years running and received great reviews from The Washington Post, Washingtonian, and Baltimore Sun.  More importantly, it’s right downstairs (1st floor of the building), it’s beautiful, and it’s our favorite.  We promise you won’t be disappointed!

Iron Rooster – Down along the Harbor Row, this one features breakfast-all-day.

Yama - This little place, up in Parole, is our favorite sushi spot in Annapolis. If that doesn’t work for you, try Joss.

Cantler’s - The most famous crabhouse in Annapolis for a reason.

The Point - Our great friends Bobby and Julie Jones run one of the most popular restaurants in the area on the water over in Arnold.

Severn Inn - The views here are pretty special.

Vin 909 – Good pizza and wine over in Eastport.

Boatyard Bar & Grill – A fun favorite of the sailing crowd in Eastport.

Things To Do – You’ll find plenty to do in downtown Annapolis.  Too much for us to list.  Mostly, just get your stroll on and enjoy whatever you find 😊

Take a Spa Day - We’re a little biased because we love these folks, but allow us to recommend one of our favorite local businesses: Even Keel Wellness Spa just up the road. Massages, facials, beauty services, just the thing if your trip is relaxation focused, and maybe even more the thing if you’re stressed! Call (410) 990-0111 and tell them we sent you for 10% off, or use promo code AIRBNB10 at https://evenkeelspa.com/

Wine Rack Minibar– We’ve left some delicious vino on the wall to make sure you have something available to drink late at night.  Sometimes it’s local, sometimes it’s other favorite bottles we’ve found – enjoy!

Check-Out Procedure – When your trip is over, please help us with the following check-out procedures:

1.      Strip the sheets from the bed, gather your used towels, and place everything in one place on the floor by the door – you’ll earn extra karma points!

2.      Place your trash in the trashcans next to the fridge or in the bathroom.

3.      Please wash and replace any dishes you’ve used.

4.      Text me @ 240-421-5497 to let me know your visit is over.

5.      Book your next trip and come see us again….And tell all your friends!

** Late check-out at 1:00 pm may be available for a $35 supplement, subject to availability. Feel free to ask in advance, as we can only accommodate this request if there is no guest the next day and we coordinate additional payment with our cleaning team.**

Enjoy your stay!
